Capacity building and institutional strengthening. The Department of Fisheries will be provided with support to formulate a comprehensive sustainable Fisheries Management Policy for the province and to develop and approve a new Fisheries Cooperative Law covering all landing sites in Gwadar and Lasbela. The Department of Fisheries will also be supported to spearhead capacity building through its technical institute, undertake monitoring of the aquaculture resources, develop mechanisms for dredging through PPP arrangements and to establish hatcheries in the coastal areas to serve the purpose of conservation through restocking.
